9:30 am Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:
Dolphins
Sea Lions
Pelicans & Seagulls
We had a beautiful sunny day. We encountered two large pods of dolphins (1000+)! The dolphins (including many mother and babies) were feeding and frolicking. There were also sea lions, pelicans, gulls, and cormorants enjoying the bounty. We were able to stay with the dolphins a long time and enjoy seeing them jumping and surfing in the boat’s wake.

8:45 am – Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:
2 Grey Whales (1 adult & 1 juvenile)
5 Bottlenose Dolphins
1 Mola Mola
Beautiful sunny day, calm seas, and incredible visibility. Within 1 mile outside of the SD Harbor, this cruise spotted 5 Bottlenose Dolphins. Then traveling to where Grey Whales had been spotted and south bound, a Mola Mola passed by the side of the boat. 2 Grey Whales (1 adult & 1 juvenile) were watched for several minutes. These Grey Whales spouted many beautiful heart shaped blows.

9:30 am – Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:
Grey Whales
We found one juvenile gray whale and 2 more adult grays later in the cruise. All whales came up consistently and put on a great show. We also saw around 100 common dolphins altogether, about half of those were found in a feeding frenzy with hundreds of birds.
